t Luxe Pack LA 2024, French ribbon manufacturer Neyret unveiled an expanded sustainable collection, highlighted by a collaboration with Yves Saint Laurent on a feline-motif ribbon crafted from recycled plastic bottles. The new line includes fringed, reflective, and vintage-textured options—all made from 100% post-consumer polyester yarn.

“Luxury brands can’t ignore packaging’s environmental impact,” explains Neyret’s design director, Pierre Dubois. “Our recycled ribbons use 20% less water and energy than virgin polyester alternatives, and they’re fully recyclable alongside household fabrics.” The YSL-exclusive ribbon features metallic gold accents and a silk-like finish, proving sustainability doesn’t compromise elegance.
Other luxury partners, including Burberry, have integrated Neyret’s ribbons into their packaging. Burberry’s 2025 sustainability report notes that 100% of its packaging ribbons will be made from recycled materials, part of the brand’s goal to eliminate virgin plastic by 2030. Neyret expects the collection to drive 35% of its 2025 revenue.
